We’ve redesigned the registration process to ensure instant service matching. When you invite your educators, their service is automatically filled in the registration form.
Enhanced security and flexible user roles
Once you’re a member, you’ll notice improved account protection and smarter service management.
Admin and user role assignment
Directors and administrators can assign secure roles with clearer permissions.
Seamless movement between services
Educators can move between services without losing access to their historic information. Everything stays with you. If a Director moves services, it’s easy for new Directors to find and manage their team.

For Directors, logging in feels different, in the best possible way.
The new Play Active dashboard is built to support decision‑making and reporting while you develop your team.
Track educator progress in one place
Directors can now monitor educator Play Active Professional Development progress through a dedicated dashboard.
Directors can:
- invite educators to join their service
- remove educators who have moved on
- see all educators who have completed their PD
- see when educators are due for their follow up survey
Brand new resources
With the new Play Active website, comes new resources! We’re delighted to launch the Playful Bytes digital toolkit in our dedicated member content hub. Playful Bytes has been designed in research collaboration with you to make communicating with parents about children's healthy eating and physical activity easy.
Member content available for educators!
Educators affiliated with member services can now instantly access exclusive member content, like sample Play Active Quality Improvement Plans, daily planners, checklists and assessment tools.
Events and webinar integration
We’ve added Humanitix to the platform, giving you a seamless way to browse, register and attend upcoming Play Active webinars—all within a familiar interface. Stay tuned for details of our next webinar.
A refined user journey
We’ve redesigned the journey to make it more efficient. Payment now appears earlier in the onboarding flow so you can get your Play Active journey started sooner.
